Shocking Suicide of TCS Manager Manav Sharma – Family Holds Wife and In-laws Responsible

The tragic suicide of TCS manager Manav Sharma has left his family in deep shock. His parents and sister are now demanding strict legal action against his wife, Nikita, and her family, accusing them of playing a role in his distress and eventual suicide. Following the registration of the case, Nikita, along with her family members, has gone missing. However, she has posted a video on social media denying all allegations made against her, claiming they are baseless.
Manav’s sister, Akanksha, strongly rejected Nikita’s claims in the video. She stated that her brother had been under severe stress due to the threat of police action. Akanksha recalled that on the day of the incident, Nikita had called her at 2:30 PM, and before that, Manav had been in contact with her around 12:40 PM, discussing some documents related to a presentation. During the call, Nikita allegedly told Akanksha that Manav was about to do something. Akanksha immediately tried to call Manav but he didn’t pick up. He replied to her message saying that he was watching a video, and the video would stop soon.
Concerned, Akanksha sent him a message asking if he was feeling alright or if something was troubling him. Manav reassured her that he was fine and asked her not to worry. Akanksha then told Nikita to stay calm and sleep, believing that everything was fine. However, she had no idea that Manav was planning something as devastating as suicide. Akanksha further revealed that her brother’s emotional state had worsened after he was informed about Nikita’s past life via an Instagram account. This revelation had deeply affected him, leading to a suicide attempt. Afterward, Manav’s parents went to Mumbai to speak with him and later helped him travel to Agra, where he intended to file for divorce from Nikita. However, during this period, Manav and his family were reportedly threatened by Nikita and her relatives, which only added to his stress, pushing him further into despair.
In the aftermath of his death, Manav’s parents have been devastated and are now demanding that action be taken against those they believe are responsible for their son’s emotional turmoil.
On the other hand, Nikita, Manav’s wife, released a video in her defense, where she stated that Manav had previously attempted suicide on two separate occasions but she had intervened both times to save him. She explained that shortly before his suicide, Manav had warned both his father and sister about his intentions. Nikita also shared a WhatsApp conversation with Manav’s sister to validate her claims. According to her, Manav had been under significant emotional stress for some time, and the issue was related to events from the past.
Nikita further clarified that on the day of the incident, she had left Manav at her maternal home in Barhan, and he appeared to be fine. She explained that Manav had been emotionally unstable for a while, and she had brought him from Mumbai to Agra to try and support him. Despite informing her in-laws about his fragile mental state, they reportedly downplayed the situation, dismissing it as a personal matter between the couple.
Nikita also described how Manav was an emotional person who would often cry when seeing others in distress. She recalled that when Manav was bidding her farewell at their wedding, he had become teary-eyed, worried about how his parents would manage without him, revealing his compassionate and sensitive nature.
This incident comes just days after another similar tragedy, where an AI engineer named Atul Subhash Modi from Bangalore also committed suicide. Modi, like Manav, posted a long video before taking his life, in which he blamed his wife and in-laws for his emotional distress. His suicide note, a 24-page document, detailed his grievances.
