Nadaaniyan, starring Ibrahim Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor, has finally premiered on Netflix on March 7. Combining romance, drama, and comedy with a classic Bollywood touch, the movie offers a fresh take on youthful relationships and self-discovery.

Directed by Shauna Gautam, the film features a delightful throwback to the beloved character Ms. Briganza from Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Archana Puran Singh reprises her role after 27 years, once again delivering her famous lecture on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, adding a nostalgic element to the film. Shah Rukh Khan fans will also appreciate the time travel reference to Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which blends with the modern love story between Ibrahim and Khushi Kapoor’s characters.

The story revolves around Pia Jai Singh (Khushi Kapoor), a wealthy South Delhi schoolgirl who convinces Arjun Mehta (Ibrahim Ali Khan) to pretend to be her boyfriend in exchange for money. As they navigate their fake relationship, feelings begin to develop, and both characters experience growth and self-discovery. The film also features notable performances from Suniel Shetty, Mahima Chaudhary, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj in supporting roles.

Produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Misra under Dharmatic Entertainment, Nadaaniyan had a special screening on March 5, in celebration of Ibrahim Ali Khan’s 24th birthday. With a focus on romance, youthful innocence, and the complexities of relationships, this film offers an enjoyable watch and is sure to capture the audience’s attention this weekend.
