Former WWE Wrestler Saurav Gurjar Threatens Ranveer Allahbadia Amidst India’s Got Latent Controversy, Says “No One, Including His Security, Can Save Him…”

WWE’s former wrestler Saurav Gurjar, also known as Sanga, has strongly condemned podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia for his controversial comments on the now-deleted YouTube show India’s Got Latent. In a video posted on X, Gurjar made it clear that Allahbadia should not be forgiven for his statements, urging for legal action against him to set a precedent and prevent similar incidents in the future.

Gurjar emphasized, “What he said on the show is unforgivable. If we don’t take action against him, more people like him will continue making such statements. These individuals have crossed all limits. Legal action should be taken against those who tarnish our society and religion with such remarks so that future generations are safeguarded. Freedom of speech doesn’t mean you can say anything and everything…”

He further added, “I don’t want to use harsh language, but if I meet him anywhere in Mumbai, no one, including his security, can save him for what he said on the show.”

The India’s Got Latent Controversy

Ranveer Allahbadia, known for his popular YouTube channel BeerBiceps, found himself in the midst of controversy after making remarks on India’s Got Latent, a show hosted by comedian Samay Raina. Allahbadia’s comments about parents and sex sparked significant backlash, leading to legal action.

Two separate FIRs were filed against Allahbadia and Raina — one in Assam and another in Mumbai. In Guwahati, a complaint was lodged accusing the show of promoting obscenity due to its publicly accessible nature.

Along with Allahbadia and Raina, the Assam case also named Ashish Chanchlani, Jaspreet Singh, and Apoorva Makhija.

Public Apology and Video Deletion

Following the uproar, Allahbadia issued a public apology, admitting his lapse in judgment while making the inappropriate joke. Similarly, Samay Raina, the show’s host, deleted all episodes of India’s Got Latent from his YouTube channel. Raina commented, “Everything happening right now is overwhelming for me. I have removed all India’s Got Latent videos from my channel. My only aim was to entertain and make people laugh. I will fully cooperate with all agencies for a fair investigation.”

Ongoing Investigation

The situation has caught the attention of law enforcement, with police visiting Allahbadia’s Mumbai residence, only to find it locked. The case continues to generate public and legal discussions, with increasing calls for regulatory measures to oversee online content. The controversy has even reached parliamentary discussions, with calls to amend laws concerning digital content and public discourse.
