Tejaswini Manojna

Tejaswini Manojna, born on 19th May 1994 in Hyderabad, Telangana, is a multifaceted individual known for her extraordinary achievements. She completed her schooling at Rosary Convent High School and went on to pursue her MBBS from Osmania Medical College, graduating in 2017.

At the age of 16, Tejaswini gained national attention when she was selected as ‘India’s Best NCC Cadet’ and ‘Best Shooter’ among a pool of 1.3 million cadets in the Indian Armed Forces, including the Air Force, Army, and Navy. Her remarkable performance earned her the Young Achiever Award at the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) meeting in Sri Lanka.

Apart from her academic pursuits, Tejaswini has a strong presence in the world of performing arts. She is a Bharatanatyam dancer, who has been nationally recognized as a graded professional artist by Doordarshan and the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Her performance in front of former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam earned her much acclaim. Tejaswini is not just a dancer, but also an accomplished singer, having conducted several concerts and workshops both in India and abroad. Furthermore, she has acted in and sung songs for music albums.

Adding another feather to her cap, Tejaswini is also a certified yoga instructor, dedicating herself to promoting wellness. In 2017, she took part in the Miss Diva competition and later participated in the Miss India pageant. Her most significant achievement came when she was crowned Miss Earth India 2019. This victory led her to represent India in the prestigious Miss Earth 2019 pageant held in the Philippines.

Tejaswini’s international recognition includes serving as India’s Youth Ambassador, representing the country in various SAARC nations. Her excellence at the Miss Earth pageant didn’t go unnoticed, as she bagged multiple awards, including Miss Intelligent, Miss Talented, and the Global People’s Choice Award. She was also honored with the ‘Beauty with a Purpose’ award, which was presented to her by the Prime Minister and President of India.

In her personal life, Tejaswini is married to Pawan Dutta, an IAS officer from the Maharashtra cadre, further showcasing her connection to distinguished individuals in India’s governance sector.
